Endometriosis Awareness

Project Objective: Execute a self–guided project using only an egg as your muse to help inspire your project's topic and decide what the final outcome will be. The topic I chose was the common yet not commonly known disease of endometriosis with my final outcome being an informational zine and poster.

"Eggsploration"

In the beginning, gaining inspiration from the egg was a challenge. A series of brainstorming exercises were conducted such as word association, topics related to eggs, and experimenting with eggs themselves. While brainstorming, I experimented with materials like markers, glitter, and ink to see if it would create any interesting forms. The bottom photo is egg mixed with ink which eventually sparked the idea for the project's topic and made it into the final design as the poster and zine backgrounds.
